Lab-Scale Spray Drying System

Mini laboratory spray dryer (small spray dryer) has a compact design and can be independently placed in a laboratory or placed on a specially designed stainless steel rack. It is self-contained and can be operated without other facilities. One-button start-up, large color LCD touch screen operation, fully automatic or manual monitoring can be used for two operation modes, convenient operation and monitoring of the experimental process. It is the spray dryer with the smallest volume, the lowest noise and the excellent drying effect.

Our lab-scale Spray Drying System is designed specifically for small-scale production and research and development purposes. It provides a compact and versatile solution for drying various liquid feeds into high-quality powders or granules. This system is perfect for optimizing product formulations, conducting feasibility studies, and small-scale production runs.

Key Features and Benefits:

  1. Original imported nozzle for high spraying efficiency.
  2. Color LCD touch screen displaying essential parameters, including air inlet temperature, air outlet temperature, peristaltic pump speed, air volume, and pass needle frequency.
  3. Fully automatic control: With a one-click startup, you can set the spraying process parameters. Once the temperature reaches the predetermined level, the peristaltic pump starts automatically. An animated running display on the touch screen clearly shows the process. To shut down the machine safely, just press the stop button.
  4. Manual control: Easily switch to manual mode if you need to adjust process parameters during the experiment. The color touch screen provides dynamic (animated) feedback throughout the experiment.
  5. Nozzle cleaner (using a through needle) is included. It automatically clears nozzle blockages, and you can adjust the through needle frequency as needed.
  6. Shutdown protection: Press the stop button for an immediate shutdown. The equipment ensures safety by stopping all processes except the fan, preventing potential damage due to improper shutdown.
  7. The spraying, drying, and collection system is constructed from high-quality, transparent, heat-resistant borosilicate glass to maintain a pollution-free environment during the drying process.
  8. Equipped with an imported oil-free air compressor, resulting in powder spray with a normally distributed particle diameter, excellent fluidity, and low noise levels (less than 60dB). No additional auxiliary equipment is required.
  9. Utilizes real-time control PID constant temperature technology for precise temperature control within a ±1°C range across the entire temperature spectrum.
  10. An air inlet filter is included to maintain sample purity.
  11. Adjust the feed volume with the feed peristaltic pump, allowing for a minimum sample volume of 50ml.
  12. Achieves uniform particle size in the dried powder, with over 95% of the dry powder falling within the same size range.
  13. For viscous materials, a nozzle cleaner (through needle) is provided, automatically clearing nozzle blockages with adjustable through needle frequency.
  14. Features an innovative tower wall purging device that enhances material recovery rates.
